To be honest, I’m surprised that there aren’t more people singing and writing music about these types of things, because there’s so much going on in the world right now. Whether it be the economic/monetary system collapsing around us, or the whole 99% movement, the whole environmental issue that we’ve got smacking us in the face right now – that we’re seeing more and more of every day. There are so many real things that are happening around us, that we would find it so difficult to be able to sing about anything else, because that’s what’s staring us right in the face at the moment. There’s so much music where the lyrics are just garbage – absolute nonsense that mean fuck all – we couldn’t go out onstage and shout about things as passionately as we do if we really didn’t believe in them. So that’s basically why we talk about what we do.
